1. Who is responsible for your data

This website, jonsoler.com, is operated by Jonathan Alejandro González Soler ("Jon Soler"), trading as an independent strategy advisor based in Spain.

2. What data this site collects

This website does not use cookies and does not run a contact form. The only ways personal data reaches me through this site are:

• Direct contact: if you email jonsoler@jonsoler.com, I receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, email address and message content.
• Aggregate analytics: this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool. It reports page visits, approximate location (country/region) and referring sources in aggregate form. It does not use tracking cookies, does not fingerprint individual devices, and does not build profiles of visitors.

3. Why I process this data and the legal basis

• Responding to your enquiry — legal basis: your consent, given by contacting me, and/or the steps necessary to discuss a potential engagement at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (a) GDPR).
• Understanding site usage — legal basis: legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is useful, balanced against your privacy through the use of a cookieless, non-identifying tool (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. How long data is kept

Email correspondence is kept for as long as reasonably needed to manage the relationship or enquiry, and in any case no longer than is required by Spanish commercial or tax law once an engagement exists. Aggregate analytics data is retained by Cloudflare according to its own retention policy and is not personally identifiable.

5. Who else sees this data

Two service providers process data on my behalf, each under their own data protection terms:

• Google (Google Workspace) — hosts my email. Google provides standard contractual clauses for international transfers.
• Cloudflare — hosts this website and provides the cookieless analytics referenced above.

I do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and I do not use it for advertising.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR and Spanish law (LOPDGDD), you can ask me to access, correct, delete, or limit the use of your personal data, or ask for a copy in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise any of these rights, email jonsoler@jonsoler.com. If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es).

7. Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as the site or its tools change. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update.
